Bad Starts for 2 of Our Opponents

iowa has played the last couple of nights in the guardians classic and i've watched bits and pieces of both games. they smoked maryland eastern shores and pulled away from colgate in the 2nd half.

iowa is a veteran team with basically all of their starters back from a team that played in the nccaa tourney last year where they lost in the first round.

basically alot of the same players that have played slu the last couple of years. iowa's biggest weakness is overall athletic ability but they should finish in the first division of the big 11 (if you have 11 teams in your conference you shouldn't be called the big 10) and i would be surprised if their not in the ncaa tourney again this year.

Charlotte had two poor shooting nights while their opponents shot well.

Against Northwestern, Charlotte was 16-52 (31%)from the field and only 4-16 (25%) from beyond the 3pt line. Comparatively, Northwestern was 18-35(51%)and 8-18 (44%).

Against Wyoming, Charlotte was 26-85 (31%)from the field and 6-30 (20%)from beyond the 3pt line. Wyoming was 30-54 (56%)and 7-17(41%).

It happens!

JG/Red Baron/Murffius hates Lutz - always has and always will. Not sure why. If multiple conference titles and yearly NCAA appearances at a relatively new (1947) commuter school that probably ranks as the #5 program in the state of North Carolina means one is overrated then who isn't overrated in JG/Red Baron/Murff's mind?
