kshoe
Charlotte has been beaten soundly now by Northwestern and Wyoming. UWM got destroyed by Memphis last night. In the good news category: Temple and Iowa had easy wins last night.
bills16
iowa has played the last couple of nights in the guardians classic and i've watched bits and pieces of both games. they smoked maryland eastern shores and pulled away from colgate in the 2nd half. iowa is a veteran team with basically all of their starters back from a team that played in the nccaa tourney last year where they lost in the first round. basically alot of the same players that have played slu the last couple of years. iowa's biggest weakness is overall athletic ability but they should finish in the first division of the big 11 (if you have 11 teams in your conference you shouldn't be called the big 10) and i would be surprised if their not in the ncaa tourney again this year. gister
What's wrong with Charlotte. I thought they were supposed to have a decent team. This doesn't help the conference at all.
StLouBlue
Kind of like the A10, or I guess you mean the A14?
Billiken Law
Charlotte seems to frequently start out slow then come on once conference games hit.
jg99
Charlotte lost their best pl;ayer in Basten and have one of the most over rated coaches in college ball.
kshoe
I bet most "average" college basketball fans couldn't even name Charlotte's coach, yet he consistently gets a team stuck in the middle of ACC country into the NCAA tourney. Over-rated my ass.
tseugnekillib
Charlotte had two poor shooting nights while their opponents shot well. Against Northwestern, Charlotte was 16-52 (31%)from the field and only 4-16 (25%) from beyond the 3pt line. Comparatively, Northwestern was 18-35(51%)and 8-18 (44%). Against Wyoming, Charlotte was 26-85 (31%)from the field and 6-30 (20%)from beyond the 3pt line. Wyoming was 30-54 (56%)and 7-17(41%). It happens! cheeseman
We know what poor shooting will do to you winning a game - we suffered through that all last year. Maybe too early to tell what kind of team UNCC will be this year. Wouldn't it me interesting if we have the kind of year that the A10 is expecting from UNCC and they have ours. Billiken Law
JG/Red Baron/Murffius hates Lutz - always has and always will. Not sure why. If multiple conference titles and yearly NCAA appearances at a relatively new (1947) commuter school that probably ranks as the #5 program in the state of North Carolina means one is overrated then who isn't overrated in JG/Red Baron/Murff's mind?
