Thanks to Steve for all of his hard work to get this back up and running. Secondly, I saw there was a growing thread related to SLU vs. UMKC that I posted a long comment on and I did not get a chance to read the rest of the thread as I had to leave my house and then it was gone when I got back. If anyone remembers their comments and would be kind enough to post them again that would be great. If not, no big deal. SLUMS81 Posted September 10, 2005 Share Posted September 10, 2005 SLU played hard, had some excellent chances against Duke. Duke is a very good team, a little more team speed than SLU. slufanskip Posted September 10, 2005 Share Posted September 10, 2005 Do you know what is wrong with Disbennet. I didn't think Duke had any more speed than SLU. Just so much bigger and in the first half they kept trying to play the ball in the air and long. In the second half they played it much more on the ground with shorter passes and more through balls. GoSlu Posted September 10, 2005 Author Share Posted September 10, 2005 After the UMKC game I was walking out by the players benches and saw Disbennett, he was holding a bag of ice in his hand so I'm guessing he hurt something in practice since he was supposed to start that UMKC game.
