It will likely be tough to surpass that era as we are unlikely to ever find another basketball genius as brilliant as Majerus. The changing college basketball landscape will also make it harder to succeed with the widening gap between the power 6 and everyone else along with NIL The decline of the A-10 will also make it hard to find quality wins. I had some hope the first few seasons of Fords tenure as we climbed through the Kenpom ranks and had some impressive recruiting, but then we plateaued for several years and now are in free fall.
