SLUDrew
I don't think a lot of people realize that when you practice in one gym all week and then go play in a completely different type of environment with different sight lines and backgrounds, that it effects your shooting drastically. A lot of the teams we play practice in the same facility that they play their games in. I am not trying to make excuses for last night's shooting performance. It was definitely atrocious. However, when we practice and play in our new facility, I fully expect our shooting percentages to be much better.
Basketbill
Especially for college age kids, more so for the freshman....I also feel it is contagious after a few clankers, everyone is a little tense when shooting....
Tonka
You know I totally agree with you guys, but on the other hand if that is the case, then we won't win one road game.
tseugnekillib
When we practice and play in our own arena we will hopefully be attracting better players/better shooters! As our previous HC stated at a Tip-Off Club meeting....."the surest way to improve your team's free-throw shooting is to recruit better free-throw shooters"! Basketbill
college teams do not do well on the road......!! Finding a way to win on the road is key, show me a team that relies on the three point shot and I will show you a team that loses on the road!!
