Scouting Report: Johnson is a center with great size and length. He rebounds both ends well, and has a good sense of positioning particularly on the offensive glass, where he gets a lot of his points. He has nice touch out to mid-range. He alters and blocks shots well. He appears to be a late bloomer, as there hasn't been much recruiting activity until this spring. He also appears to have reclassified; he was previously listed as a 2018 recruit at Proviso West but transferred to Prosser and has been listed as a 2019 player ever since.

He's not a high-volume scorer, but impacts the game with his length, strength, anticipation, competitiveness, and all-around smarts. Rankings: 247sports - 273, 247sports Composite - 303.

Julius Marble - PF, 6-9, 220 - Keller, TX (Dallas Jesuit) - Twitter: @jujitzu25

Interest: Oklahoma, Baylor.

Latest News: Marble was named MVP of the Knights of Columbus Classic this weekend. (12/4/18)

Scouting Report: Marble is a solid power forward with the frame to bang for rebounds and the skill set to be a matchup problem. He has worked on conditioning in the past year, getting much stronger and more athletic. He's a solid rebounder and shot blocker with good hands. He's a very good shooter out to the three point line and gets a lot done in the face-up game. He runs the floor well and plays with fluidity. He's tough, energetic, and highly competitive. He's aggressive off the dribble, scores on all three levels, and has a smooth stroke. He creates mismatch problems because of his versatility and range. He runs the floor better than many guards, blocks and alters shots, finishes strong, rebounds, and shoots from the perimeter. He's an excellent post scorer with a wide arsenal of moves. He outworks opponents on both ends. After three years of HS in his hometown of Dundee, he graduated from NABA Ireland before deciding to take a prep year at Beckley in West Virginia.

Interest: Temple, New Mexico, Portland, Loyola-Chicago, Florida Atlantic, Cleveland State, Ohio, Georgia State, Towson, Wagner.

Latest News: Pryor has been excellent in Pioneer's first two games, both wins. (12/4/18)

Scouting Report: Pryor is a long, lean forward with a lot of versatility. He's a late bloomer who was originally a guard but with a late growth spurt has grown quickly who will need to add to his frame and could be more of a skilled stretch 4 in college. He can score on all three levels and is an excellent defensive rebounder. He has solid on-ball skills, can shoot off the catch or pull-up, blocks shots, and can guard any position. Despite being based in Ann Arbor, he plays AAU ball for Young & Reckless out of Chicago. His dad is basketball coach Sean Pryor, currently at EMU and previously at New Mexico Highlands, Chicago State, and Mineral Area College; a Chicago native, he played at Mineral Area and Oregon State before playing professionally in France and Puerto Rico.

He absorbs contact and finishes at the rim. He's a very strong defender, as well. He has said he will not commit until this spring. Rankings: Rivals - 46, Prep Hoops - 113, 247sports - 71, 247sports Composite - 70, Future150 - 81.

Scouting Report: Reeves is a long, lean shooting guard who can fill it up from the perimeter. He's good off the ball finding his spots and has excellent, consistent mechanics. Early in HS at Kenwood Academy in Chicago, he was seen as little more than an undersized shooter. He has grown 5 inches since starting HS, and added a to his game. He's a lot more aggressive going to the basket and rebounding at both ends, and always plays with a high motor. He transferred to (and won a state title with) Shadow Mountain (AZ) his junior year because of a job offer for his father, and has moved back to Chicago for his senior season for the same reason

Latest News: Thomas had a nice showing for Hillcrest at Inspire Prep this weekend. (12/4/18)

Scouting Report: Thomas is a versatile forward with a big frame. He was originally a guard who kept growing. His late growth spurt means he's a bit raw still, but he can play and defend multiple positions, and scores on all three levels. He can shoot it from the perimeter, rebound, and block shots. He missed most of the 2016-2017 season with a strained growth plate. He played two seasons before that at Cesar Chavez HS in Laveen, then transferred to Hillcrest, where he is now entering his postgraduate season. Thomas originally committed to Nevada in the fall, but got a call in early August from Eric Musselman that they were no longer interested.

Moderator's note: Please do not reply in this thread, except for Pistol.  Make replies in the thread of the year in question.  I would lock the thread, but then I'd be concerned that Pistol wouldn't be able to edit the posts.  Thanks, --Quality Is Job 1 (thicks).
