bonwich
We're #115! We're #115! We're so above average* http://www.wsj.com/graphics/college-rankings-2016/ Don't know if it's behind a firewall or not. SPUMAC scored a whopping 325. (That is not a typo.) Other notables: WashU 11, Notre Dame 25, Georgetown 29, Illinois 48, BC 62, Creighton 133, Marquette 158, Gonzaga 215, DePaul 270, Saint Joseph's 292, Methdale 315, baby SIU 500+, the dishonorable SMSU >800. Old guy
It is good to be ranked 115 by WSJ, I cannot see the table of rankings since I am not a subscriber to WSJ, but it is still very good.
White Pelican
* The only thing that comes to mind is Lake Wobegon. Residents, schoolkids there or something?

Residents, schoolkids there or something? That actually works, but it's not what I was thinking of. "Welcome to Lake Wobegon, where all the women are strong, all the men are good-looking, and all the children are above average." I'm pretty sure the exact quote I'm citing includes the words "you're so above average" and predates PHC by about a decade.
cgeldmacher
US News and World Report's rankings came out a few weeks ago, and we were 95 I believe.

Tied for 96. One's affinity for one or the other rankings is probably correlated to one's degree of SPUMAC schadenfreude, given that US News has them at 115. The law school was back up to 82, which I think is the highest it's been in over 10 years.
