ACE
One thing scumbag Lewis mentioned was that UNLV plays an NBA style. If he means uptempo, that is not the NBA style any more (with the exception of Dallas). After Detroit won the championship with a defense first approach, every team will be copying it. Teams will be looking for players who can play the D. Who better to teach that than Brad. Secondly, Krueger flopped in the NBA. What made him some great NBA guru? Thirdly, scumbag Lewis is selling out a young man from his community and shipping him to sin city of all place. Wouldn't it have been nice if Tommie could've played locally and been a positive role model for the youth on the East side?
billiken_roy
this has nothing to do with "what is best for tommie". it is all about what is best for lewis and butler. enhance their ability to provide pipelines to the nba, the shoe companies and the major colleges. tommie is just a pawn for them to use. unfortunately, tommie is good enough and he knows it that the longshot dream they are painting a picture of for him is obtainable. so tommie goes along for the ride on this "once in a lifetime opportunity". a sad sad scenario. Mobile-iken
I hope Liddell ends up in a better position than Nick Kern is in today.
