jbizzle09
St Joe's up 58-50 with 13 minutes left. Is Martelli's job in jeopardy at St Joe's? Game's in OT now. Don't think Martelli is in any danger at St. Joe. He has a contract through 2015-16 and he has a proven record of success with the team. He had 3 straight losing seasons in the late 90s and then the team had 6 straight years of either NCAA or NIT appearances, including an Elite 8 run in 2004 and being named AP Coach of the Year. He knows how to build a team. He also has a couple of really good freshmen in Galloway and Aikens.
ACE
The arrow will be pointing up for St. Joe's next season. It will be pointing down for the Dukes.
SShoe
The arrow will be pointing up for St. Joe's next season. It will be pointing down for the Dukes. It's been a wild tournament so far. Hopefully Richmond will make the final and lose to either Dayton or St. Joe so the league can get 4 teams in and hopefully knock some of the less deserving teams out. Cough...cough...Mizzou! Bay Area Billiken
St. Joe's wins 93-90 in OT. There is no doubt IMO that Atlantic City helps the Philly schools. The other two, LaSalle and Temple, are playing each other tonight. 3 seed Richmond plays a key game against 6 seed Rhode Island. Richmond cannnot stumble if it hopes to get an at large bid for the NCAA. So tomorrow's first semi will match 9 Dayton and 12 St. Joe's. Dayton, if focused, would seem to have the talent to win this tournament and steal the NCAA automatic bid. Oh, what might have been. Oh, what might have been for SLU.
