AlumniFan Posted February 14, 2010 Share Posted February 14, 2010 Being totally realistic, if we can go 3-3 the remainder of the schedule, that would be pretty decent for this young team. That is winning two at home and splitting on the road. Dayton will absolutely be out for blood when we play them at Dayton. Temple, Rhodie and Xavier are the top 3 teams in the conference. Winning 1 of those two would normally be pretty impressive. I think 4-2 is spectacular. Anything better is pretty much a miracle. It would be great to see, but is just highly unrealistic. Nonetheless, I am hoping and praying!!!! As KShoe and others have pointed out, getting to an RPI where we would be considered for the tournament may be impossible even if we win out. However, we are at least building a great resume for the NIT. Not to mention how well this sets the team up psychologically for next year.
