alameda bob Posted March 12, 2004 Share Posted March 12, 2004 I just found these national ranking of Stanford's teams: 1-baseball, m xc, w xc, w tennis 2-m basketball, m swim/diving, m water polo, w water polo 3-w gymnastics, coed sailing!? 4-m tennis 5-w swim/diving 6-w crew an on and on...That is a program to envy, not dislike. RecCenterRat Posted March 13, 2004 Share Posted March 13, 2004 yeah .. were you a part of that discussion ?.. i posted that they had a ton national championships since 1981 .. 80 or so .. i think they may count individual national champs as well .. like Tiger Woods .. may count for some? i'm not sure if he won team championships with stanford .. i respect them .. but at the same time i would understand if someone disliked them .. I realize they're good, but I don't want them to win. Like I said before, Do I have to be rational about it? Hey, if a program is no good, there's no point in "loving to hate" it.
