There was also confusion as to whether or not the game was on local television ahead of time.

The blackout was removed during the game, but the initial beginning of game blackout lost some viewers who didn't return or check later during the game..

That's unfortunate for casual observers and SLU fans alike in the home town market, as it was a good opportunity to showcase SLU basketball.

Same thing happened last year on DirecTV for this game, it was also blacked out. I spent 20 minutes on the phone with DirecTV. I ended up watching it on ChannelSurfing.net.

I had practice and had it recorded on dvr on Direct. It only recorded abot 1 minute of it and had a message saying it was not available and quit recording.
