Run49er Posted August 25, 2009 Share Posted August 25, 2009 Today's Charlotte Observer has a piece about local player David Chadwick Jr. and it mentioned that Rick Majerus had been in town this past Friday to visit him. The 6-9 Chadwick had signed to play at Washington State but asked for and received his release after Tony Bennett left WSU for UVa. Will prep this season at Hargrave instead of accepting offers that came from the likes of Marquette, Memphis, and New Mexico. Let's not get out hopes up. I think 49er misread the article though. Look carefully, it says that Chadwick de-committed from Wazu on a Thursday in April and that RM visited on the Friday (i.e. the next day). It also said that Chadwick turned down all his offers, which were mainly from 'mid-majors'. Seems like he'd be a perfect fit though. Hope he reconsiders.
