His article today was bad. It was poorly written and focused way to much on SLU in CUSA although we are obviously going to the A-10. But those that criticize Gordon the person need to back off. I contend that besides Frank, Earl and maybe Ramsey there probably isn't a bigger Billikens supporter than him. He may be an ex-antler but he writes more critical articles on Snyder and more positive articles on the Bills than just about anyone.

Again, today's article was bad, but he is an ally and we'd be foolish to turn him against us when we already have a shortage of allies in the media.

I agree with you about Gordon. He has generally been very supportive and maybe this article is the exception. However, I think that all SLU fans feel that we continually are relegated to 2nd class status by the P-D in favor of Missouri. I know I do. Take the Sports Section of Wednesday's (11/5) paper as an example: the Tiger women's soccer team, which is at .500, gets a full article as it starts Big 12 tournament play. The Billiken women's soccer team, having a great year and chance for post-season action, gets nothing as it starts C-USA tournament play. Today, there's 100 words on the game, after the fact. Thanks a bunch.

Having said that, the Gordon article was horrible.

I'll take what we can get. Yeah, that article was pretty outdated and was not too great. But I remember about a year ago when we were all bitching about not getting any print in the PD. Now we're bitching about the quality. This may not be the best, but it's better than nothing....

But c'mon dude, it's soccer. I too am just happy that Gordo has us in his thoughts no matter how ill informed and out of date. Go undefeated through Arizona and Gordo will be forced to learn a couple of the player's names even!
