Billies
Just a thought...if this happens with RM and he gets what he wants in terms of the requests that have been publicized you have to ask the question: Why was this commitment not given to Brad and what could he have done with higher paid assistants, better travel, and more academic support for players? Four Seventeen
He wouldn't have done anything with it. He just would have sat on it and eaten more scholarships up. You know that.
Billies
No...not really. Can't say that I knew that or agree.
Four Seventeen
Brad had a problem of brain farting when it came to recruiting. He got all excited and then forgot to send out letters, etc. Just completely brain farted all the time. Biondi (as well as all of us Brad haters) were sick and tired of it. basketballcountry
So sick and tired and desperate they are begging for a coach who was put on 3 years probation, school losing players for the next 3 years, got some of his assistant coaches fired, payed players money for trying to play good in games(yes know it is unreal, but he did and got caught at it)payed money to his playere for ???food, and then walked out on that program 6 months later. WOW Can you say desperate.
slu72
If UB's record had been 422-147, he would have got anything he wanted from just about anyplace. Unfortunately that was not the case. By the way, there was some whack job, claiming to be a huge SLU fan, that e-mailed Frank and said "it's not against the law for SLU to rehire UB. Why don't they do the right thing and bring him back?" Unreal. Do most of us think UB's firing was mishandled? Yes. Do a lot of us think he should have been fired after the GWU game? Yes. GOSLU68
we all wanted Brad to win for him and us-it just did not look like he was anything except a project as a coach. How long do you give a project in college basketball- a redshirt year and 4 years to prove yourself. He got exactly that. He had many admirable traits and way too many things he and we had to apologize for. We wish him well-but Majerus can command things Brad could never beg for. The most important being media attention-has the man not been a major figure with ESPN for the last 3 years? That being said. We are in the show me state and I' remind you what the USA believes in is the sign down on hwy 44 "Jesse James hideout as seen on TV" if it were not for TV Jesse would be a local secret. Because of TV there is a good chance you will want to see his hideout in the Mermac Caverns
Clock_Tower
Jealousy dripping from the corners of your mouth is not becoming. Get a life! In the meantime, learn to spell.
