He said how excited he is to play here, be close to home, and especially to get the chance to play with Tommie and Kevin. He also looked good in a SLU hat. Soderberg was asked about having negative press and he reinforced the fact that he doesn't read anything bad about himself and the only time that he hears these things is when "well-meaning fans" or the media asks him to respond to it. He said that he has always felt that Cheryl has been 110% behind him. He considers her a member of his team. They also asked him his opinion on all these coaches breaking their contracts early to move to coach at a different school and he basically said he thinks is awful (for lack of a better word) that they're leaving early because a lot of kids are getting hurt.
