It's been great reading these memories as a newer Billikens fan, as I've been able to go back and learn a lot about SLU basketball history. My list is short and much more recent, but here's a few of mine:
-Watching the tournament teams from 2012-14. I was young and not really following college basketball, much less the Bills, but I remember going to a few games at Chaifetz with my dad and watching Mitchell, Jett, and Loe just to name a few.
-2019 A-10 championship run.
-Dayton home game. Even though it was a hard loss, the atmosphere inside Chaifetz was unmatched. Goodwin's layup to tie it almost blew the roof off of the place.
-Watching our current team grow together. This year turned out much better than I expected after losing some big parts of our team from the year before, but now I'm so excited to see what this team can do next year and beyond.

It definitely sucks, but I’m not mad at the A-10 for making this decision. Protecting the American people is much more important than a few sporting events. Seeing where Italy is right now, we need to do anything and everything possible to ensure that don’t end up in their situation. Sure, cancelling the tournament may have not done much, but in my opinion I think it’s better to be safe than sorry.

With last night's results we jumped one to a NET of 56. VCU dropped to 60, Rhode Island is at 52 and Richmond at 42. Duquesne is at 89, meaning their only pathway to March Madness is to win the A10 tourney. Davidson still 'in there' at 76. Half of the league is in Top 100 NET. If Richmond whips Duquesne, they could easily move into the high 30's.

Alex is a friend of mine, and he really is a great guy. I'll always cheer on Billiken athletes but it's even better when someone like him is seeing success.

Get home late just to find out that SLU tv doesn't carry CBS Sports anymore. Awesome. Guess I'll try to follow along through the ESPN app.

This game made me even more optimistic for next season... Yuri with 12 assists, Perkins making it look easy with 25 points, Bell and Hargrove looking good. Then of course Goodwin and French had strong performances as well. These guys plus a healthy Jimerson and Thatch? The A-10 better be ready next year because we're coming in hot.
