Not stirring the pot. Some think we should stop recruiting because our three spots are full. Just saying why would we stop recruiting top talent especially when there is the potential some scholarships may open up. It is looking less likely, but until this is completely resolved we should not take anything for granted.

We might have between 1 and 4 available scholarships in the near future.

That we are debating the pros and cons of taking 4 Kids when we have 3 available scholarships is awesome. My how far we have come under Coach Ford.

Longer than that. We haven’t had a player this physically imposing since Anthony Bonner. And French is just an 18 year old freshman. What will he look like as a 22 year old senior?! French and Gordon for three years... ouch!

Based on the list of other schools recruiting Pearson, not very exciting. From that standpoint only looks a guy we would be going after in the Crews days. I hope Ford & Company are not settling, and really see something.

Was everyone represented in the locker room?

I was at an event earlier and Coach Ford said he wanted the alternate uniforms to be black. Looks like he made that happen. Looks really good with the royal blue and white trim.

Thanks Jesus for the impartial hard hitting coverage of all going on at Saint Louis University. Every school has its challenges. Some deal them appropriately, others do not. I'll be looking for your in-depth coverage on the pattern of poor behavior and lack of transparency that continues in real time at the University of Missouri. Sophomore Dimetrios Mason, second on the team with 13 catches, is no longer a member of the program, a source confirmed Saturday. Sources confirmed Mason was dismissed for disciplinary reasons.

Hopefully invites him to a football game. That would certainly help us...

The list of schools recruiting him is not impressive. Sounds like a back-up plan to me. WIth that said I trust Coach Ford and his staff.

Harris Stowe has the Columbia, Missouri arch on their floor. Mizzou won't be happy about that.

That's good for Cuonzo, because he can't get anyone outside of STL unless he gives their dad a job. Goodwin & Gordon are obviously very talented and want to wear Billiken blue and rep STL. Mizzou is a non-issue. If some talented local kids want to go there good for them. Some kids always want to rep the state school. Shows how jacked-up Mizzou is that it took them until 2017 to become relevant in Saint Louis basketball talent. We'll get as good or better talent from other places. This is the best group of recruiting coaches we have had. No worries.

Disappointing to not get Watson. I like most others like the local talent, but I really want to best talent we can get regardless of location. Rhoden seems to fill-the-Bill...

Gordon, Thatch, Watson. Focus on 2019 and 2020.

Of course Martin is recruiting Gordon. Fair game until signed in Mizzou / Martin land. Many coaches respect a verbal commitment, some like Martin do not. Mizzou fans / trolls are just cocky now and love starting $hit. Don't fall for it. SLU 2018 class Gordon, Thatch, Watson. Will be very sweet on several levels.

Things change just ask Holtmann.

Gordon is coming to SLU. He has verbally commited, reinforced that commitment in a recent interview (and talked about his wanting to really rep Saint Louis and SLU) and it makes the most sense for him. Mizzou goofballs stirring the pot to get a rise out of SLU. Don't fall in the trap. I am sure Gordon is being recruited heavily by Martin as Martin has demonstrated he likes to play in the mud. Actually all D-1 coaches play in the mud including Ford and his staff, some are just more savvy than others. Of course Gordon could change his mind, I just don't see it at this point. I think it is more likely that we land Watson.

I want the best available. If they are from Saint Louis all the better. If better options from outside Saint Louis then I want them.

I'm not saying and I don't believe others are, that if a game between the two schools happened that it would not be a big deal. It would be a big deal, and would create a lot of buzz. When we last played it was a big deal and they were good games. I and others against playing are speaking from a personal level. I just can't stand Mizzou, their culture, etc. and would prefer not to play them. There are a lot of other teams I would like to see us play. With that said, if a future SLU / MIZ game is part of my season ticket package I'll go, but I hope it's not.
