A win against any of those teams no matter how bad they are does more than beating Arkansas State or UC Irvine, or Furman or any other irrelevant program nobody has ever heard of in the NIT. Hate to break it to ya.

Lol hating on DePaul and butler only to lose to Arkansas state. Only in SLU land. We got the powerhouses of Sanford, kent state, csun(?), Jacksonville State in the Not In Tournament. 100% the wrong choice. But up to players and coaches to decide so whatever.

GDT: A-10 Tournament: SLU v. Loyola Chicago

I'm fine with him returning. Just saying if he were to leave it wouldn't bother me. Wouldn't be like Goodwin leaving. I think he could be replaced. -

Do you watch the games? The only people who think Robbie is irreplaceable are people on this board. Every SLU fan I know and talk to in person says the same thing. They see him struggling consistently against athletic top level competition. He's good at securing counting stats cause he's a slow 6'10 point guard lol but it's so painfully obvious that this isn't conducive to winning games. Again maybe having Casey healthy would allow him to not have to matchup with the opposing 5 but Avila can not play Center on a good team. He was surrounded by two of the best shooters in recent SLU history and we still didn't come close. If he is our starting center again next year I struggle to see anything changing for the better. -

I dream of just being good enough or big enough to attract good transfers. Dayton can attract good transfers. Loyola and St. Joes and George mason attracted good transfers. Why can't SLU. Robby brings some attention sure but so does winning. Chaifetz wasnt that packed this year as many of us all saw. -

Ya having watched almost every game I was disappointed. He was outclassed pretty consistently. Had a few good games but im not sure he's good enough to play at the level I am hoping SLU can get to. But maybe he looks better with an actual big alongside him. I personally don't think so but thats the only thing yet to try. But May is still AD so doesn't seem like we will be achieving anything anytime soon. Slowly losing interest in SLU basketball. May be converting to a Mizzery fan if they can build consistent success. Would of shot myself for thinking that 5 years ago. Time for StL City. -

GDT: A-10 Tournament, SLU v. Davidson

You said he was one of the best players on the court. A man who shoots 26% from the ft line and is a role player whose job is to rebound because our center can't do it isn't one of the best players on the court. Not even close. I appreciate Anya for carrying the deficiencies of our star big but he isn't and never will be one of the best players on any court at this level. -

We must hope and pray Gibson shows up for the second half. It's a big game though so wouldn't count on it. -
