i think you're being a little harsh on barnett. he hit a few threes. not sure how many he missed but it didn't seem like too many. i like glaze. he looks lost but he's new and will take time. gotta love his intensity. manning looks fine. everyone wanted to redshirt willie his freshman year and he seemed like he contributed. i do agree with you that ellis seems like a lost cause. when he signed to play here i remember reading on an aussie message board about how he had a lot of potential but seemed to lack intensity and desire. apparently he got by with that in australia but its catching up to him now that he's seeing greater competition. at least, that's how i interpret it. i'm not going to expect much from him this year. my guess is he'll be at the end of the bench and evans will get more minutes. i think our bench is pretty solid. not sure how you figure there to be a huge drop-off considering evans, mccall, and barnett came off the bench. keep in mind loe was on the bench too. that's not a big drop off at all.

Are you nuts? Butler has been to back to back national championships? It is a good school and within 4 hr drive. The kid had it down to mizzou, bc, Santa Clara and butler. I think you're just making things up at this point. Pujols did not weigh 270 pounds in high school. I saw him back then and if you don't believe me you can look at his high school baseball photos. He was significantly smaller than he is now. He came to the us, was in new York for a few months and then moved to independence because of the crime. He doesn't just ignore players for no reason. And the idea that he's just lazy seems counter to the players he has signed. We just got one of the top 100 players in the nation and he verballed in june. Wouldn't have happened if our coach was lazy. And there will be another verbal this summer. No doubt about that.

Not sure how Metz is worse than Roy. Roy has become a serious problem and is 99 percent of the reason why I frequent this board much less than I use to. If were gonna ban Metz again we need to ban Roy.

What a bunch of contradictions by the Missouri folks. On the one hand, the positive spin about Frank Haith is that he will run a clean program and graduate players. When concerns are raised about his ability as a coach, people are pointing to the fact that Jeff Capel and/or Anthony Peeler may become assistants. Are you kidding? Both have questionable backgrounds and would not be wanted on the staff of any team that is serious about cleaning up its image.

Not thinking it is stanford. I guess the distinction is that he could get in to both schools but is unlikely to be able to get through both schools, which is why I'm glad we stayed away.
