Now that I think about it, the list of available coaches with the parameters I cited is a short list:

UNDER 55 WITH 3 OR MORE NCAA APPEARANCES

    Chris Mack (9)
    Travis Ford (7)
    John Becker (5)
    Bryce Drew (5)
    Cuonzo Martin (4)
    John Groce (4)
    Andy Kennedy (3)

Everybody else is already in a P6 job or recently took another position.  Or am I missing somebody?

No thanks on any of these guys, except maybe Mack.

FWIW, PJ Carlesimo was the logical choice 8 or 9 yrs ago, but he is no longer interested/available. The logical choice now is the legendary Billy Gillespie. He’s currently out on medical leave(similar to Majerus before his SLU hire) Hopefully, CM had already begun the process of building rapport with BG.

17 points in a debut game for Ez. That's pretty impressive. Let's see if he sustains that and becomes a scorer at SLU. He only averaged 12mpg last season. Highmark remarked that he dropped some weight.  So there's a chance that he's developed now at his 3rd school. He's got size and weight to throw around vs A10 front courts.

Yeah, small sample size, but it appears TFord did a good job of developing this big.

This loss is just a one off.

Clearly, if Meadows hadn’t been injured, he would have shut down Johnson and scored in double figures. Add in the 20+ pts Parker would have scored, and this is a W without the Bill’s incredibly bad luck.

    Bring on Drake!!!

Road trip to Des Moines on Wednesday! Who’s in? We’ll all go to Bubba’s after the game!

By about an inch. Took max effort to make the catch and stay in bounds. That was a big, strong team that has a good shot make the tourney. We were just too small to consistently stop them but I thought the Bills played well and much better than Saturday.

Loved all the mixing up of the zones used to try to slow down their bigs. This won’t be popular, but props to Travis and the coaching staff for making those adjustments.

Might have been Jimerson’s best game as a Billiken. He was making grown man drives to the hoop, knocking down shots, and making the right pass at the right time.

Meadows played well, TJ gave it everything he had and Bruce is improving. Did anyone notice late in the game Van Bussell and Dalger getting into it with each other? What was that about?

Bottom line, the Bills are working hard to get better and with Parker this would be a dangerous team.

With Parker, the Bills win this game.
