This is a tough pill to swallow. the Bills definitely shot them selves in the foot. They made to many stupid mistakes to win. That said, if I was Schertz and May I would be calling every AD and coach I know making sure they NEVER play a game at GCU. There is no reason for any legit college to play a game there.

At this point if you are watching and hoping for more than improvements why are you watching? They have sucked this year and are a bad team. They looked a lot better tonight. If they play like tonight during the A10 season they will be OK. i am finally seeing the improvements and team game I’ve been looking for. Still not happy but feeling more optimistic.

They got jobbed by a bull shi* school but honestly it doesn’t matter. They looked better and I’m coming away with a positive.

Happy with the outcome…..hell no! but I definitely feel more comfortable about them going forward. If you don’t see this as a step forward I dont know what to tell you. Still disappointed but this is the improvement I’ve been looking for.

I feel better about the Bills going forward now than I did 2 hours ago.

Wofford called that timeout not Schertz

This team should be able to overcome a bad FT shooting night when dealing with Wofford. They should be able to beat Wofford going 5-30 from the line.

What an awful final play. The chances of that pass being caught cleanly and Avila being able to turn and make a 3?? What in the Grant Hill to Christian Laettner was that? I would have much preferred hitting a streaking Swope and letting him fire it up off the dribble.

Defense looking better. Although it helps that Wofford runs the shot clock down to 5 seconds every position but still looking better. Just need to stop the silly turnovers.

After 5 minutes prediction….. Wofford: 73 Billikens: 6 points, 2 injuries and 1 illness. Kidding….kind of.

And that’s a big issue. Schertz excels at developing players to play in HIS system. If he has huge turnover and new teams every year the players will never perfect HIS system. If Schertz can keep guys around we will eventually be great. If it’s a revolving door of players every year we are in trouble.

I hope he finds success where ever he ends up but nothing he showed me the last 3 years has me believing that.

The slow starts are baffling?!?! Oh well, this season looks like a bust but I still have faith in CJS and the future. Just have to wait a year. And really if they can get healthy and eliminate the awful starts conference play might be enjoyable.

That play happens 100s of times a weekend and it gets called a foul 99% of the time.

Ty Pence has a punchable face but I bet he pulls some hot tail.

This is the exact opposite of thousands of Ford complaints during GDTs. “Ford is too animated, he needs to stop ranting and raving, the refs hate him.”

Missing wide open shots definitely didn’t help but the real problem is the defense! The first 10 minutes they were getting looks they just can’t know shots down on the road. By the time they figure it out they are down 20+. Seems like it’s been this way for 10 years.

Apparently the Bills didn’t know what time the game started either.

The 2nd half of the last game has me feeling better than I have in a while. It was the best they’ve looked all year. We will find out shortly if it was for real or smoke and mirrors.
