Down goes Stanford. Cal by 18.

I’ve been lucky enough to watch some outstanding players for SLU since attending games in 69. For so many reasons, J-Good ranks very high for me.
He was treated poorly by the Administration in S2. He could have left. I’m sure dozens of schools were throwing feelers to his family and support group. If he leaves, I’m of the opinion Has leaves. They came to play together. If that happens, does Coach stay? I don’t know, but he would have been demoralized by the departure of those 2 and the others in S2.
I believe Coach is perfect for our program. Jordan goes and it may have all crumbled. Jordan is Team Blue personified. For that, I support hanging his Jersey. (Not retiring it)

I thought you had to be an All-American and graduate to receive this honor. I’ve been told even though Larry Hughes was an All-American, he didn’t graduate. That’s why his jersey hasn’t been placed in the rafters.

How does impact Hargrove and Strickland?

I guess that will be Senior Night?

He also hurt his left thumb. He held it ever time there was a break in play. One tough kid.

I get that, but my point was that a 22 point lead going into the 4th is / was pretty much insurmountable.
Over that 3 minutes you mention SLU was outscored 5 to 1. If they played just as horrendously over over the entire 10 minute 4th quarter, they're outscored something like 17 to 3, and we still win 65 - 57.
I know a 65 - 57 win doesn't look as nice and maybe Ciaja doesn't get a career high, but this team needs to be playing to peak in the A10 tournament not run up the score / maintain a big lead on St. Joes in February. You can make an argument that a smaller win doesn't provide as big of a NET boost, but I'd counter that the women aren't going to be in line for an at-large regardless so NET considerations are basically meaningless. I also think getting some of the younger / less frequently used players some garbage time boosts morale and has potential to pay dividends down the road if you need the depth.
Or you could argue that the top 7 or 8 players need to work together to make up for all the games and practice they missed. Playing in games is better than practice. There are no seniors on the team. So, the top group is going to get all of the minutes for several years. As you said, Coach Stone doesn’t go deep into a bench.

Not the University, the issue is the City

Just heard that Sam Houston State was getting $55,000 for their buy game vs. LSU. Announcer said normally would be $85-100.

Flowers seems to me to be underused.
I’ve watched them consistently dating back to pre-Shimmy. Flowers is a serious underachiever. She plays very soft. Every so often, she does something impressive, and makes you think that she’s getting it. Unfortunately, her consistency hasn’t been there. By far, her freshman year was her most successful.
I hope she can figures it out, because we are very small without her contributing. It doesn’t appear her issue is effort. I’ll tell you, she misses a boatload of layups. I think, to have a chance to win the A-10, we need Brooke to be a contributor.

Hey fellas. I could use some help if anyone has the solution. I have ESPN+ for tonight’s ark pine bluff game. But from what I gathered, it will be blacked out on the +. So I have a Roku and downloaded the fox sports go app. I also have some cable credentials to stream it (sshhh). But all I’m seeing in the fox sports go app is the slu game available tomorrow @ 12am...? Which I guess would just be a replay..?? Am I looking in the right place? Do I have the right app? Is anyone listening to me??
Try the Fox Sports app The game is shown as playing there at 7:00.

dah! I just realized the stats are on games on the +. if u turn tablet/phone sideways. so guessing that will be the case for our games. Guess it works on the other sports apps. O T a bit has anyone bothered to get the Peacock nbc app? wondering it it has sports?
Peacock has sports, most noticeably the EPL. I have a problem streaming to my Samsung 82”. Other than that, it is fine. Comcast provides it for free in Florida, and I have no problem watching there.

Strange that we probably have a home game at the beginning of Dec and no word at this point on fans, yes or no, and if yes, how many and how the lucky few would be selected. With the City reducing the accepted size of gatherings, even at houses of worship, I would think we will not be seeing any fans in the Fetz, at least for a while. I know the Ath Dept has a lot to be working on, but I am surprised that they have not put out any info to season ticket holders recently. My best guess is that the City leadership is causing the hold up.
The City is the issue. The AD has submitted several alternatives for the City’s consideration. I wouldn’t count on any fans for awhile.

What percentage of the capacity of Chaifetz is made up of season ticket holders? If it's 30% and that becomes the standard for in-person attendance, then great. I'd sit anywhere inside Chaifetz to be able to watch this season.
I think a bit over 5,000 seats go to season ticket holders. The hard part will be how many go to students?

Was/Am looking forward to Orlando. However, I wonder what the attendance situation will be. Limited w/masks and distancing? No limits on size but masks? No crowd at all? Anyone’s guess at this point.
Given that Florida is only allowing 30% capacity for the Dolphins and Miami U, I’m guessing that’s the % of capacity I expect until a vaccine is available and distributed.

Lorentsson was not in a US school last year. His team toured the US for a few weeks, but he was not registered or going to a US school.
I thought SLU was not online only.

Thinking I’ll upload 12/13 New Mexico today. I’m working on my theory that nobody will care about games more than 5 years old.
I’d be interested in any era. Thanks for doing this.

I took my young family and mother to Hawaii for the tournament. Our son is sitting on the bench with the team.
still think we got hosed by the refs. We had a great time, and Grawer and the team were terrific to our kids.
