Tatum doesn't need a point guard to get him the ball. He can handle the ball very well himself. He is a guard who happens to be 6-9.

He turns 19 next month. Looks pretty built to me for someone of that height and age. He'll have the summer to bulk up a bit more before next season.

They could have NBA potential like Manning, or could be a big stiff like Conklin.

Good finds, JMM. That big stiff from Oregon and that beanpole from Naperville never amounted to anything. Never gained any weight or improved at all. BigMouth, I never said Welmer looked good in the videos because I didn't watch them. Just showing you there's more stuff out there on him besides some scrawny picture from his soph year in HS. But if we're strongly relying on him next season then we're probably going to be terrible again. Here's another video. He's #191 in white. This is from the spring of his junior year in HS. He's by far the tallest guy on the court, and he is a beanpole. But he's already signed, so it's too late to call Crews and tell him he should have recruited Jahlil Okafor instead.

Before the 04-05 season I remember thinking that team was a lock to go to the tournament. They returned most of the guys from the previous year and I thought Dwayne Polk would be really good. Oops.

I don't expect him or Neufeld to be stars from the beginning, but they both should be much less of a project than someone like Gillmann.

If Reggie is on the court he is playing the 5. I say he'll stay and average 8 and 6 next year. If McBroom is back it will likely be another lame duck senior year like Manning.

If this list is to be believed, this recruiting class is better than Marquette, West Virginia, Washington, Texas A&M, Georgia, Pitt, Temple, Wake Forest, Iowa State, Cal, and Wisconsin (who comes in at #106). How are they coming up with the score? Are they just averaging the star rating for the players? Is Okafor + 3 unranked players considered a "worse" class than Reynolds, Roby, Yarbrough, and Jolly? I like to look at recruiting rankings, but I always remember that the highest rated recruit brought in by Majerus was Brett Thompson.

We have a stretch 4 and a center already signed for next year. Should the staff bring in a 3rd big in the same class?

Reynolds, Roby, Bartley, Yarbrough, Jolly, Gillmann, Crawford, Agbeko, Lancona, Ash, and McBroom will transfer. Neufeld will demand a release from his LOI. Next year's starting five will be Aaron Hines, Stephen Leazer, Royce Simpson, Elliot Welmer, and Sadie Stipanovich.

We'll be good in 2 years. A junior/senior laden team, hopefully with a star freshman.
