Recruit

Recruit (1/7)

  1. Did Paul Eckerle Play? Also, how was Alex Tyus able to play, I guess because he orginally went to school in Missouri?
  2. You people do realizet that Roundtree can barely stay academically elligable in high school, I believed he missed games in the past because of his poor academics, I would bet Brad didn't want to take the risk. From the people that have seen him play, what position would be play in college? He's 6"3 and doesn't have much of a jumpshot and hes an average ballhandler
  3. They tried to play him on the wing, and he was awful, they moved back inside and he is thriving. However, he is 2-3 inches shorter than our current undersized pf, albeit with much, much better post moves, but minus the consistent midrange jumper. I would imagine he would always be an academic concern, but I could be wrong I would only offer him a scholly as a last resort this year, that is if he becomes D1 elligible after this year, I am not sure if he has to play juco for 1 or two years since he was an academic nonqualifier out of high school
  4. I have watched him play, he has no perimeter game, he trives takening it to hole against smaller, weaker guards. Good Athleticism, Ok vision, Ok handle. I believe his assist numbers are inflated, In the Borgia game he was credited with 9 assists, from watching it there was no way he had more than 4. D2 for sure, or maybe a small D1 like SEMO or Tennesse St
  5. You can't give Wendell Bennett an F, he was not recruited to be a contributer, just a practice player. He only averaged like 11 ppg in high school, The staff knew he would never play important minutes from Day 1
  6. V-time, those stats are only through 3 games this year, they don't mean much
  7. Only about 5'10 or 5"11, excellent from beyond the Arc with range, he will start for SLU by sophomore year at the latest IMO, he would be getting looks from major DI programs if he was 3 inches taller Gets to the line a lot in high school, I don't know if that will carry over to the next level considering his size Bryant Allen, (2009) SG/PG from Maplewood put up 30pts 8 rbs 5 steals and 6 assists in his first game this year. I hope slu is looking at him Also the McCluer North Trio is playing well to start the year
  8. Luke Meyer put 12 pts and 9 rbs against one of the 25 best teams in the country. Without a doubt he played the game out of any of our players yesterday
  9. I saw on mosports that Scott Suggs, 6"6 pg that SLU is heavily recruiting broke his wrist in a recent game. He will miss at least a month. Hopefully he will make a full and quick recovery
  10. http://semosportsweb-jhall.blogspot.com/20...itys-bogan.html Was slu recruiting him before going to memphis, Any chance now that Calipari was apparently rescinded the offer
  11. Nate, I take it you were at the Desmet game. What was the deal with John Brandenburg, I saw he only had 5 pts, did he grab any boards? It is only the first game so maybe he was just getting adjusted
  12. When and who does Mcluer North play next?
  13. Do you think Roundtree has the skills to play SG in college, would be a better fit than John at SLU?
  14. http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=437&p=8&c=1&nid=2654842 He failed to qualify out of high school, has St. Johns, Bonoventure and Ohio along with SLU listed
