  1. the important takes from the game: Parker is legit - I think he gets at least 20 minutes per game, should also be noted that he had a game high 7 rebounds Forrester is a very good backup - passing is really good, much better than Okoro's the 2nd half was poor in part because the plan the first 10 minutes was to work on the inside game, which is very difficult when a defense packs it in.. i think they they only took 2 threes the first 8 minutes...
  2. 47- 24 half parker 13, jimerson 12, Collins 9
  3. No you’re not arrogant because you think you are right, you’re arrogant because you have no respect or consideration for anyone else’s thought… your mocking of hearing that others disagree with you, is evidence of that. It’s apparent that you feel that women’s soccer is your exclusive domain and that everyone should bow down to the all knowing Skip…sorry that I pointed out a basic rule that you were unaware of….
  4. And you wonder why people think you are arrogant.. if the tables had been reversed, you would have been the first to whine about it, and everyone knows it…
  5. Kelly lost where the ball was and backed into the keeper. You’re obviously not aware of the rule where possession by the keeper is constituted when they touch the ball (which clearly happened), and once there is possession they can’t be touched. As for being a homer, I think you have things backwards. You obviously expect Billiken fans to ignore the facts just because it benefited them. You remind me of a lot of KC Royal fans….oh, and by the way there are a lot of VCU fans and a local announcer of the game who disagrees with you as well.
  6. no, I'm not wrong.....if you watch the video, the SLU player clearly backed into the keeper before the ball arrived, which constitutes a foul. Secondly, once a keeper makes contact with the ball, they can not be touched, which also occurred. Goalies, with good reason are normally given a measure of protection because of their vulnerability....it doesn't make you a bad fan to admit that your team caught a break...
  7. From the Dayton Message Board: Sully@sullymygoodname 9m Heard from multiple sources now that Mali Smith has re-injured his ankle and will be out to start the season. From what I have heard, I would not expect him to be ready to go before Thanksgiving. Just a huge blow for the Flyers. Supposedly seen in a boot & crutches, we'll see This Sucks
  8. you can't impede the goalie from going to the ball...it was a poor call...
  9. no, that should have been a foul...the benefit of the doubt always goes to the keeper....the Bills were the better team, but they clearly had a questionable call at best go their way....
  10. My expectations are a lot higher than yours based on our talent.
  11. So tired of the Ford bashing. The team will excel if we avoid serious injuries, administrative incompetence, foreign created viruses, and the players keep their pants up, things which Ford has little or no control of.
  12. Stu’s comments don’t bother me, but the Billikens should be favored, for a simple reason, talent. When you have 3 starters who will likely be first team All conference and a fourth who should be 2nd or 3rd, a likely player of the year winner, lots of experience and quality depth, no reason they shouldn’t win.
  13. You’ve obviously never visited any of the St Louis Public Schools…
