it's one of those games where we have relatively little to gain, and a lot to lose. It would be a "key loss" if we were a bubble team, but it wouldn't be a "key win." Believe me, I'd love to go to the SLU/MU matchup with steve, it would be one of the best games i'd ever see.

Listen, I would love to see a SLU/MU matchup, but it's not really beneficial for Mizzou. SLU is far too good to be a warmup game, but not really high enough up the totem pole to be helpful for SOS or RPI.

sources say (if Kleitzman can use that term to prove anything he says so can i) He's not planning on going anywhere. He'll be at Mizzou next year.

I believe it, it definitely rubs off on his kids. I've met him once or twice, and every year he writes a column about the camp.

how did it have racial overtones that you didn't place on it? I never mentioned race once. If they were white people and Quin and Alden were black, would you accuse me of racism? You're creating the issue, and if you were to ask anyone I know (steve for instance) they would assure you that I am in no way a racist.

Wow. Did you read the transcripts? It's racist when I say they should be fired, but not racist when Amy Stewart refers to her husband calling Quin and Alden "cracker crackheads?"

I agree. We're both gonna be biased, and this is gonna get nowhere. Personally, I think it's gonna be somewhere inbetween what I want and what you guys want, but I'm just hoping it's a little more towards my side.

The "fiefdom" is already consolidated. He's president of the MU system (which includes KC, STL, et al.) but each school has its own chancellor. What he is intending to do is become chancellor of Mizzou because his office is in columbia. What this does is create a horrible conflict of interest, and the more i read about it, the less i like it.

It looks as though Floyd, Mrs. Floyd (also on the payroll for some god-knows-what reason), Harvey, and Stewart need to go.

They have signs next to the phone regarding the phone calls being taped, and a recorded message takes place every few minutes to remind them. You don't think it'd be a question of rights to not inform people in jail that you record their phone calls? He knew he was being taped.

I don't think we ever necessarily considered him "credible." This is the same guy who said he saw a moose in alaska and had a dead mother. He's never been to alaska, and his mother is very much alive. In fact, he's a proven liar- look at the transcripts, he still claims he hasn't choked Bunge even though he plead guilty.

I think GT will have a harder time establishing the tempo against Soderberg's staunch defense. I agree that you're right, and I think SLU's gameplan might make it a very interesting game. I will say that the Homecourt advantage still exists, simply because of the offcourt atmosphere. Great post.

Actually, most MU fans think it's more promising if Floyd resigns. If the checks aren't found to be anything but university stipends, or non-existent, then the NCAA would be more likely to slap us for lack of institutional control over our program. Floyd resigning would seem to be the first step towards correcting that.

I don't know that billikens.com is gonna enjoy this one.
