ALL Packer talks about is how FATIGUED OR TIRED ewverybody is. He says it every tournament, this guy is fatigued. How the hell can he be fatigued when they have had a week off.

Newberry is an idiot, but most people on message boards are, even I am one! Do you guys ever think that he just posts a false info to see how long a thread can go? I have heard that Rolfes might leave IWA for a public school to make more money but nothing else

The AD is a women, she could careless if she hires a gal, what slu needs is minority coach(black) how many black head coaches has slu had in the last 10 years

Levick has contacted Dukes assistant coach already and a couple coaches from the West Coast. I do not think any ST.louis coaches are being considered. I will take Chester, but Blake is nothing to right home about.

Why would hir Rolfes, they already have 2 guys on staff with the qualifications as Rolfes. Francis coached in Missouri, won a state championship and Evans has played pro ball, and coached over seas. If Levick is going to consider Rolfes she might as well consider those two guys too.. But, I think she will go down to the Fianl 4 and interview there. I know the players repect the hell out of those two coaches but when your leader(JP) is not that great of one you tend to get labled and I feel for evans and francis. Besides Rolfes is suppose to leaving IWA and going to a public school, plus he left SLU in the first place to spend more time with his famly

Georgetown and Notre Dame do not have PE/Kinesiology programs and they can still win games and make the NCAAs

Somebody close to the program said Mia was unhappy at SLU and she wanted go back to Minnesota. I think regarless if Jill stayed or not. BUt who knows, maybe the new coach can convince her to stay

But, the problem Roy is that Mia Johnson is transferring. Amanda is still coming to SLU, what other D-1 school does she have to go to.

Good luck to Jiil. I do not feel too sorry for her, she makes $125,000 a year and plus her contract has 2 more years so she is going to get a great buy out. She was a bad coach and I feel sorry for her assistants because she made their lives hell too. But they will find other jobs, too bad one of those guys can't get the head coaching job but Cheryl already has her people on it

So is Jill gone? Newberry why do you hate her so much? I mean don't get me wrong, she should be fired after this year. She has no clue what she is doing recruiting wise and I here she is a micro manager. She is a nice person but it seems newberry has it out for her.

Roy, You said this team was going to be good this year. What wrong with them. DO you think Liddell and Lisch will make that big of a difference. WHat happens if they do work out either? What is your excuse now? Maybe you should be the coach at SLU and you start recruiting the players since you know everything.

So Roy you are saying that the skyhawks are a bunch of knuckleheads. So, you can throw in Matt Baniak, Justin Love as Knuckleheads. Most of the guys knew how to play basketball, the season went down hill when Floyd took his team off the court because he said the Refs were not being fair to them.

Good point Roy, all I know is that i watched Irons rin a practice this past summer as the sky hawks coach, and it was boring and slow, the players even looked board. He spent a whole hour on pressing a team, the practice just seemed unorganized, it look like he did not have a clue what he was doing, at the professional level it is different you cant get all the talent like does at vashon

Colin Rooney from DeSmet is transferring from UMASS, I think he got home sick and decided to transfer back to SLU. He was good in high school but not highly recruited

Roy, thinks he knows everyhtin. Bull ###### Jill doesen't run her practice. Jill is never around any of her camps when I took my two daughters to camp, but maybe I missed her. BUt at most camps the coach sticks around to sign autographs for the kids, not Jill she is too Big time for that. But roy is a horses ass when he wants everybody to believe him, this is the same guy who a couple months ago said Jill needs a bigger budget to recruit better players, now he is not supporting her. WHat a little B$%ch.

That is pathetic to lose like that. Why put a team on your schedule that you can not even compete with. I know some people say it is the players fault for not playing hard or playing like p$%#ies, but that reflects the bad leadership by the Head Coach, I mean when you go to a game you can see the fear in her face, knowing she is going to lose. The ship is sinking, and she is taking the whole team down with her.

From what she has told me is when she was in the recruiting process she thought going away would be really neat at a big school, but as she found out is that she really missed her family and friends. She also pointed out that maybe she should have went to SLU in the long run because she had such a good relationship with the asst coaches that were recruiting, she likes pizzotti but she really liked coach fracis, and coach evans?? It sounds like she has already contacted SLU but she doesn't know if MIZZOU will release her to SLU since they play each other.

Brittany Mannings a 6'4 freshman from Duchesne HS is transferring to the Jillikens next semester. She wants to be closer to home and her family. It is a good pick up for the team as next year they are going to be in need of a big person that can score.

It is the same stuff every game. You can make all the excuses that Jill has a young team but she shouldn't only have 1 senior and 1 junior. She can not coach, she sucks at motivating the players and has lost for 10 years and she still wears some of the ugliest clothes on the bench. That jacket she wore was terrible. Was that designed for her b/c it sucks just as bad as her team does. Fire her now!! the program is going south.

MLIU, I am glad you see my point on being committed to excellence. Jill must not be committed to excellence if she loses over and over, especially to the last 2 teams she has played. This tournament is designed to to be won by slu, just look at the teams. This is F'ed up! Jill sucks so bad, Id rather watch a good high school team play than watch her team play

Whats the chance of Mia Johnson staying at slu, she is big time, I can't see her staying and playing on a team that loses, shes wasting her talent. I know Minn really wanted her, would she decide to transfer back to Minn to play. You are right about her assts coaches, all they do is take stats, they never do any coaching. Jill does it her self JILL SUCKS, IF SLU WANTS TO BE A GREAT SCHOOL, THEY SHOULD BE COMMITTED TO EXCELLENCE IN ACADEMICS(WHICH THEY ARE) AND COMMITTTED TO EXCELLENCE ON THE ATHLETIC FIELD.( which they are not) JILL HAS TO BE FIRED.
