Bad part is we started 10-0 I believe. I had to quit watching. I am quickly not liking McMakin. She just jacks up anything and can’t shoot a lick. The entire team was bad last night though. 23% from the field and 0-15 from 3. It was brutal.

Have we had a player lead the nation in any statistical category in the last 50 years? It’s kind of amazing we could have Brooke Flowers lead in blocks and Yuri lead in assists in the same season. Brooke is almost a full block per game ahead of the next player.

Ok. How does that change my point about Jimerson. I didn’t say anything about Yuri at all, you changed it to that to defend or deflect Jimerson’s crappy game. I don’t know, I wasn’t involved in the game planning but on a 1-9 day from 3, had he kicked to Jim for another miss, half the board if not more would be complaining about his decision making. All this discussion about why we list is silly. Besides Perkins we were 2-15 from 3 and 15-45 from the field overall Just hit some fuuking shots and we win easily. And all this BS about not having open looks is just that BS. We’ve been missing tons of open looks in our losses. That’s it.

Yes. I would expect him to have a better FG% than Collins didn’t you? As for Perkins, I thought he’d be better sooner but I did not think he’d shoot the 3 at a better rate than GJim and I’m not surprised he has a better FG%. You’re making my point though, Jim is 4 for 23 from 3 in our last 3 losses and you’re defending him. Iona game shooting his average wouldn’t have made a difference, but if nothing else changes but Jim shots his avg vs Boise and SIUE we win both and we are 10-3. Ford has his faults but no matter how hard you try you can’t blame 0-5 and 1-9 on Ford.

I do think he works hard and he does get consistently held with no call but he’s a D1 basketball player averaging less than 32 mpg 13 games in. If Perkins finds his stroke and maintains it plus Parker becomes what he was advertised as, it will help GJim but he has to shoot better. If he just shoots his avg vs Boise and SIUE we win both. I’m not saying it’s just him. I’d actually say we have just 3 players playing to or above what I expected. Pickett, Thatch, and maybe Forrester

I’m wondering why Gibson never seems to take any heat or be held responsible for losses. in our 5 losses 10-38 from 3 Last 3 losses 4-23 Last 2 losses 1-14 He probably hasn’t been coached to shoot well. Like many others I’m not happy with Ford as this should have been the year. I’m choosing to wait the year out before deciding which camp I’m in, but this board chooses a few scapegoats and the rest of the players seen to get a pass.

I believe I mentioned it before but last time I spoke with Coach he mentioned that he learns a lot from the board and specifically mentioned Old guy as, his words not mine calling Okd Guy “the most inspirational poster and the poster that has helped him make improvements by constantly challenging him to be all he can be”

I don’t know that the rule changed, but I may be wrong. Having to be “set” was always just something that was said not the actual rule. It more refers to a defender moving in front at the last minute, meaning he has to get there and be in a legal guarding position. What I think has changed has been the way it’s been called. It’s still a block if the offensive player turns into the defender and the defender is not yet there and in a legal guarding position.

Yes. A great game and I believe Argentina was the better team today. I wish I could get past their BS and like them, but I can’t. In one game, Argentina showed all that’s great about soccer and all that sucks.

This has been a terribly officiated game. How do you not play the advantage on that yellow stopping a France counter with numbers. You can give the yellow at the next stoppage

Agree with that yellow and the No call. However, both of the fouls leading to penalty kicks should have been the same. How do you let all the acting go on all game, and then hand out a yellow at 86 minutes for something that’s happened 15 times prior

A lot of New Order fans love Joy Division also, but imo there is a clear distinction between their sounds. Joy Division often sounds, I guess I’d call it drab. New Order music has life.

I get why they called it, but I think the fact that it’s even in question is a problem. You should be required to attempt to make a play, not just go down with the slightest bit of contact. The game isn’t meant to be played that way. Agree with the Fox coverage. Just because you used to be a good player, doesn’t mean you’ll be a good commentator

Funny. I was listening to New Order yesterday evening on the way home from work. Probably a top 10 all time band for me. Blue Monday, Regret, Fine Time, Bizarre Love Triangle, True Faith among my favorites.

I saw the replay. He 100% goes down to draw the foul. It’s the way they play. Any contact go down like you were just hit by a cannon from 10 yards away. You watch the things they do with the ball at their feet, the way they move it around in tight spaces. It’s amazing. They don’t need the antics.
