bknightsfan
http://semosportsweb-jhall.blogspot.com/20...itys-bogan.html Was slu recruiting him before going to memphis, Any chance now that Calipari was apparently rescinded the offer
slu72
Were we ever in the hunt for this kid? Good size, we need a replacement for IV, Calipari normally doesn't go after stiffs or major development projects. I'm expecting another thread from V-Time. "Brad should get Brogan!" Billikan
290 pounds!!!! That may be too much "good size" unless he is built like Shaq!

I did that when he committed to Memphis. No need to do it again. He could probably get him as a lot of school may have given up on him after he committed. Kahok
Sorry, but we don't want him, Big, slow, no work ethic. He would be the biggest project ever.
slu72
Hmmm, strange that the squid man ever put an offer on the table. He usually gets players who are NBA ready now.
VTIME
>Sorry, but we don't want him, Big, slow, no work ethic. >He would be the biggest project ever. I disagree. I saw him play for Charleston before he transferred. They are in the 3A final four every year. Bogan is no slouch. What ever he did to get an offer from Calipari is good enough for me. Are we too good for a Memphis recruit?
Kahok
If he was that good, then the offer from Calipari would never have been recinded. I have seen him play also and would take a pass on him. If he was as good as you say, someone else would have signed him.
slu72
You've seen him Kahok, so hard to argue. Just going on Calipari's typical recruit. He normally doesn't go after projects, more like finished products with very good reps. But given the Squid's slimey nature, it would not be unlike him to rescind if someone better came along. But the fact that he recruited him to begin with leads me to believe the kid's got something going for him and might be to our advantage to at least take a look. You can't teach 6'10".
