Sheltiedave
Brad was the head coach at Loras College, a Catholic NAIA college, for five years prior to him getting the head coaching position at South Dakota State. His faith plays a very large role in his life, and was a significant reason he leaped at the chance to being on the coaching staff at another Catholic university. Brad is here for the long run. courtside
Yes.... McDermott will be announced as new N. Iowa head coach. As for Brad...sure faith plays a large role in his life...which has nothing to do with hoops. Brad's dream job always was/is UW Madison....a very large public school. This he told me personally. No offense to SLU or anyone else...but Soderberg is no different than anybody else. He is very happy at SLu...but if if he ahd success and high profile jobs became available he is no different than anybody else. Brad isn't going to get any high profile consideration for a long while until he does something at SLU....so on that end yes, he is here for the forseeable future. ...unless he misses the NCAA's the next few years. Then he won't be at SLU. This is a business.
