billikenmetz
Would that help us or hurt us, sending Temple onto the Bubble...???
billikenmetz
Also, SI.com has Xavier and Temple, two stuggling teams with records of 16-7 and 14-10 respectively over SLU on the bubble. Rediculous.
SShoe
It would help greatly. A win over Duke improves their RPI a lot and would then improve our RPI due to SOS.
guest
It would be great if pigs flew out my butt. Same chance of that hapenning as Temple beating Duke. Would it help if the bills didn't lose another game?
DeSmetBilliken
At this point in time, I think our only possibility at an at-large bid would be to run the table for the rest of the regular season, then to lose in the A-10 tourney after beating GW in the semifinals. Considering that our RPI is in the 90s, we'd probably need help, and the best chance at help would be for Temple to beat the top team in the RPI, Duke. I still think though that our most likely chance at getting into the Big Dance is to win the A-10 tournament.

guest
"At this point in time" Our only chance at any time is to win the conf tourney.
kevinfootes
I think it would be highly unusual to take a team that might finish 5th or 6th in the conference. I think Charlotte is the only team besides GW that could get in without winning in Cincy.

kevinfootes
In the end, losses to SLU will go a long way to keeping Xavier and Temple out of the big dance. I think SLU could do the same to Charlotte and LaSalle in the next couple of weeks.
SShoe
I seriously doubt it. Unfortunately the A-10 is a 1 bid league. I don't even see Charlotte getting in if they win out because they really haven't beaten anybody.
billiken_nate
That isn't possible, if we win out we're in third place
SShoe
if we win out, it's 2nd.

billiken_roy
if the billikens win out, they would indeed finish in 2nd place as the billikens would hold the tie breaker vs charlotte via the win this coming saturday.
