Schasz Posted December 8, 2005 Share Posted December 8, 2005 For someone who does not get to see our team very often, I was proud of our effort and we were in the ball game until the last couple of minutes. IMO it was a lot closer than the final score. There were some questionable blocking calls on us that I thought were definite charging on the Tar Heels, and the 3rd foul on Ian for charging was a total joke. Kevin and Anthony had great first halfs and then UNC started playing better defense on them in the 2nd half. That was a heckuva block that Tommie did on the dude from UNC in the 2nd half and Liddell is a player. We are on our way back Billiken fans and I am envious of you local fans because this team is going to provide you with some exciting basketball. Instead of our steal and our ball they went down and hit a super deep three. 5 point swing on a bad call and the game got out of hand after that.
