He gave you a name that is uninvolved and can prove they are not the source. It really is not important - all we all need to do is simply not pay much attention to what Vol says. If he had been misled then he could easily have simply said - sorry guys but the inside info I got was wrong - by bad and all would have been forgotten. Since he did not, then he simply made an error in judgement or misheard or whatever and did the one thing a person who finds himself in that situation should never do - become defensive.
