Several UK soccer players will have to sit out two supervised team activities, such as a practice or meetings, after joining in a pickup soccer game with the Foo Fighters and UK coaches before a May 1 concert at Rupp Arena, the NCAA ruled.

-as stupid as this appears, either you have a rule or you don't and the coaches should have known they were in a 'don't do on field activities with the players' period, so if you don't like the rule, go to other schools to get support then go to the NCAA and get it changed

-of course, looking through the ever tainted lens at the NCAA, an organization that cleared UNC for making up classes and then their brilliant defense that not just athletes "took" the made up classes so we showed no preferential treatment, not sure what to expect in any circumstance when they are involved, I wonder what would have happened had it been UK basketball players instead of soccer?

It would have been televised on ESPN.
