BleedSLUBlue
Not all schools duck their in state rivals like Mizzou. Nebraska is playing at Creighton in the NIT. The arrogance of Mizzou in cancelling the SLU series and with them refusing to play SLU in the NIT is amazing. I could give you a list of 20 or 30 big name schools....bigger than Mizzou.... that play their in state rivals.
cheesycow
They don't play until the finals....is there something fishy there? Good lord, do you NEED something to be outraged about 94% of the time?
BleedSLUBlue
You picked a really bad example to make your point! Iowa and Iowa State meet every year in basketball and football. And Iowa also plays Northern Iowa and Drake most years. Iowa doesn't seem to be afraid of the same things that Mizzou is?!?!?!? The NIT probably didn't pair Iowa and Iowa State together again because it happens every year.
kwyjibo
I thought that was a real nice touch. Drexel is left out of Philly's big 5 games. I am very disappointed that from media reports Marquette ducked the Panthers and Mizzou ducked SLU.
