Cassity is tremendously underrated on this team. Taking him out of the lineup would be akin to losing what Ellis added when he got here. I don't ever recall John being anointed this so-called shooter that some seem to think. Defense, for the likes of Crawford, yes, and a slasher I recall but there were questions about his shot mechanics from the beginning. You cannot put a Dwayne Polk/Lamont Warren type on the floor for long periods of time and expect to compete. Two years, two injuries for the kid. Can you say "Floyd McClain?"

I consider myself the biggest or one of the biggest Femi backers on the board. He is my personal favorite player on the team and I was a big fan of his when he played at Mcleur North. I think that if he gets healthy he will start for the billikens. But, Femi never has been a shooter. He had a very effective pull-up jumper in high school and he can hit threes, but he is not a shooter. A healthy Femi gives us something we do not currently have, a lock-down, strong defender who can attack the basket.

Also, Kyle is slowly becoming a very good shooter. When his release gets quicker over the summer I expect him to be lights-out next year.
