"Did he tell you why he couldn't go? He canceled because Karl Malone needed help with his charity benefit....my brother Joe is the director of group sales and marketing for the Cardinals. They were going to have Rick throw out the first pitch. then have him do radio-tv with Mike Shannon. Tony LaRussa was going to give him a Cardinals Jersey with "Majerus" on the back.
