Majerus Magic
Was on campus today. He was playing basketball at the Rec and was talking to Dwayne and Mike Jones. Take it for what its worth
AJ
Watts is a great player and scorer. His only knock is that he is too small to play forward and does not have a reliable 3 point shot. Still, if Brad can turn Tommie into a 50% 3 pt. shooter, he can do it with Watts. His shoot mechanics are good; he just has never been in a program where he was asked to play the wing. I know SIUC was very interested in him his senior year at Jennings, which should tell us something.
dewey33
Did Darren Brooks of SIU fame have a similar rep? I was not in St Louis when he was in high school...
VTIME
Darren was just an all around great athlete. Great quarterback. Great baseball player. He was a guard at Jennings though. He slipped through the cracks. We all know what a great player he turned out to be. He was tough as nails.
crymdg2
I knew that guy looked familiar. I was playing on the team opposite of him. They had a 3 on 1 break with me being the one back on defense and he dunked on me pretty hard..lol. Needless to say that was a pretty short game. Take it for what >its worth Sanijay Watts has probably been playing at the Rec for years. I know I saw him playing there last year, with some Vashon players, when I was watching a St. Louis Eagles practice. I wouldn't think much of it. - Nate
