Has there been an announcement made by SLU showing what the scholarship limits will be for each sport?

I believe SLU has a bigger problem that runs across all sports. Assuming the House VS NCAA is finalized in April, it sounds like the Athletic Department does not intend to offer the full number of scholarships that the NCAA will allow in the other sports. If our other sports (beyond basketball) are competing against other A10 schools with full rosters of scholarship players and we are not, it will be very hard to compete. Maybe basketball alone will get us the the Big East, but I would think we would need to be competitive across the board.

Exactly. And I believe all has to be determined and implemented for Fall of 25'? Short amount of time to decide many things that will impact sports across the University.

Curious to know how this impacts other sports? I know there are new roster limitations for all sports, but each person on the roster can be on scholarship. Does anyone know if SLU will be offering scholarships to all rostered athletes? The concern is that if a sport can offer 15 scholarships (example) but if SLU's Athletic Department only allows 12, will that sport be at a disadvantage compared to other A10 schools.

That is my thought as well -we need to/have to sweep GW and GM to have a chance. IF we can somehow sweep those 2, we will likely end with a conference record of 8-10 which got us in last year's tournament with a 6 seed. I am not sure who of the teams; GW, GM, and Duq have already played Dayton.

Trying to remain optimistic about this season, but it seems like this team needs a bit of a jolt. They have been running the same rotations with the same players (5-1 or 6-2) for weeks and just not showing improvement. Would love to see a few people that have not gotten playing time to get a shot. Either they will come in and bring some new energy or at a minimum, it will send a message to the players in the normal rotation that their spot is not necessarily secure.

Competed, but lost to Loyola 1-3 last night. That was a long road trip for them as apparently they went straight from Fordham to Loyola. Let's hope for some needed rest and 2 wins against Duquesne at home!

This weekend will be very interesting. Playing at Iowa - against Drake this afternoon, Iowa tomorrow night, and finishing with South Dakota on Saturday. Collectively I would say the hardest competition they have faced all season.

Game Day/Weekend! Should be an interesting few days as they play Weber State today at 3:00 who is 0-6, UT Arlington at 3:00 tomorrow who is 6-0, and host school Missouri State Saturday at 1:00. The bears are 4-2. Best of luck to the team and coaches!

Agree with you regarding the results. The wins against Army and Illinios State were really good and for the most part they looked good doing it, but loosing to Xavier was a bit of a surprise. SLU was their first and only victory of the year. This team is showing signs of being really improved. Looking forward to seeing how they do at Missouri State.

True and I would expect they will come through, but we also need production from the other OH position. It appears they really struggled there - at least statistically.

Addy looks to be the future of this team.....the only question is, is there anyone else that can help her? I am not sure that relying on one player like that is sustainable. Can the offense quickly become more balanced?
