Love the relative lovefest from the announcers

Only real positive in games today was that Seton Hall beat DePaul. Everything else went just about as expected or worse. Eastern Washington dropped to Idaho State...

Not sure if mentioned but easily the biggest disappointment(blue font) is that French dropped to 9.7 rebounds a game, no longer averaging a double double.

Even with a loss, Tulane’s NET may improve due to Memphis being at a high ranked team. That’s the way the NET ranking works to an extent. Tulane is on the cusp of giving us a Q2 win.
True. BC plays Duke tomorrow. Same would apply there.

Two relevant games today that should be very close
Loyola-Chicago at Valparaiso(Valpo +3.5)
Seton Hall at DePaul(Seton Hall +1.5)
Tulane also has a chance to upset at Memphis(Tulane +14.5). Unlikely but would help us out

Bad decision making by JGood he had 8.5 when he was moving the ball up the court.
I think he got the ball tapped loose a bit and tried to draw a shooting foul while trying to gain control?

Sunday games of interest(Single digit spreads):
Kstate -7 against Tulsa(kstate has bad recent track record against Tulsa, much needed kstate win)
Rhode Island -8 at middle tenn st

One of half million or so D-I hoops games remaining this century will see a bigger outlier.
Extending the arc helps.
Md east shore only has 13 at half right now

Saturday is a good day to watch past opponents potentially strengthen their resume for us.
Belmont@Alabama
BC@CAL
E Washington@Gonzaga
Valpo@Arkansas

Our bigs stay healthy and out of foul trouble, we’ll win this game.

Hargrove got beat a few too many times due to poor defense but he was also unlucky that Maryville made several difficult shots where he had a hand in their face and he was in good position. He’ll get there.

Do stats count for this game?

The didn't announce the crowd, but I would say there were 'several people' there.
I’m not good with estimating but there were several hundred total. Nothing crazy but at least there was some atmosphere. Maybe 50-100 obvious SLU fans, very few Tulane fans, 30-40 Dayton fans, and a bunch of randos. GCU likely had the most fans at our game as a large group of their students were there already.
side note: to get us to over a 100 fan attendance number, I’m fairly certain the attendance numbers for SLU baseball and softball games included all the players and coaches as well as anyone randomly walking by.
