@The Wiz, just curious, As your getting more data, do your models adjust retroactively at all? Like if Seton Hall were to beat UK tomorrow, would that help our ratings or is our win still against the team SH was the day we played them?

I agree not that bad of a loss on paper. The result is basically 1 more of our 26 3’s falling from being exactly on the Wiz’s prediction range. I think the loss is only bad if someone watches the tape, and most people won’t.

His praise so far has come when he exceeded expectations with us, especially in conference. Maybe these next couple games will be for adjusting that expectation...

Whenever we had Star Wars night last year they had me write a Star Wars theme intro script. I was proud of my work, which included things like “Davell Roby Wan Kenobi.” It prolly got trashed before it got to him, but this seems like a good place to blame him for it.

Boston College lost to IUPUI at home too. Maybe they’ll take the 14th place trophy.

Seems like our defense is good enough To keep possessions and scoring down and our offense is “meh” enough to not extend a lead. That could mean tons of close games (already 3) this year so hopefully they’ll learn how to game manage better down the stretch soon.

I think the announcers just said we were picked to win the A10 after 1) 4 consecutive losing seasons 2) because we have four returning starters and 3 in our second rotation... wow. Just wow.

Well the toothpick of an announcer insinuated he may have done something naughty in NY. He has absolutely no justification for that claim, but the acc writes his tiny paycheck so he figured why not.

All of TF’s SLU teams have gotten much better as the year went along and surprised us down the stretch. I think it would be unwise to assume this trend will stop or reverse. That said, in the post game interview it looked like Ford just got dumped and Highmark was his buddy at the bar trying to cheer him up with silver linings.
