Some people come on here and cry every time we lose about this and that. We have parents of players, parents of future players, other athletes, alum, teachers, business owners that read this and when you call kids out like that it isn't a good look on the program or the school on a whole! Keep it real if you are gonna down our players and coaching staff. Be true to yourself. Many of you have your "favorites". And put the blame everywhere else. If you are going to complain then look at the whole team. We have problems on this team, what team doesn't (ex. UNC)? All these things can and will be fixed. We have one of the all time greats on our sideline and I am sure he is going to get this team rolling for Saturday and not dwell on this game. Some of you just don't understand because you have never played at this high of a level of competition. When we win it, the negatives ones will be the first to jump on the bandwagon. A-10 Champs in 2012.

Just saw on the Billiken's twitter...Baseball off to their best start since 1966??? Wow

Did a little research on this..They actually put up 12 hits and 5 earned runs on Ohio State's #1 who was 23rd pick overall last year, and then beat their #2 last year. Also with Kansas they came to town last year at #19 I believe and the Bills put up 9 hits 8 runs 8 earned in 6 innings, they then went on to beat Kansas #2 putting up 7 runs 7 earned..Pretty impressive, this early in the year they don't save arms on the weekend

Like I stated before playing devils advocate..He did run off and look at Mizzou and K-state, all of a sudden that falls through and he's got the Billiken pride again?? If I was on the team, yeah his talent is going to help us but I don't know if I would want him back on my team. Mitchell on the other hand didn't explore any other schools and agreed to pay his dues.

I am curious to see how the players react to this and the board for that matter. I understand many feel Willie was treated wrongly and what not, however he did leave very quickly and was proceeding to talk to other schools while Mitchell did not. Hypothetically speaking, say the school lets him back in, what if the team doesn't want him back? Just wondering what you guys thought about it. My prediction however, Mitchell returns and plays Willie does not

+1 no knock on wooden and his boys..but the competition wasn't amazing, I highly doubt his teams today would be able to withstand that streak

If they enclosed the stadium like a normal college they would bring in rev. Until then we will hold onto the glory days of soccer and watch an avg basketball program. Baseball is on the rise gentlemen when will SLU realize that?
