Does St. Louis have an orange Julius location? I love those things The more I read that the more I have no idea what comparison I was trying to make. I think I meant to talk about South Bend being as dull as possible and somehow my brain translated that to Chicago... You know a comparison is poor when the writer doesnt even have any idea what is going on! This rumored game, is it for the 2009-2010 season or the 2010-2011 season? Also, I heard a commercial on the radio here about an auction for coaches vs. cancer and a golf outing to follow. Rick Majerus' name was in the commercial but I missed a part of it and did not know if he would be here or just something of his is at the auction? I know he is a tough man to track but does anyone with connections have any idea if he is going to be in attendance for this event? I would love to attend if I could play some golf with RM for a day

I am actually a SLU student (soon to be Junior) who grew up and still goes home to South Bend. If having your own Fire Station, Police Force, Bank, revenue earning capabilities and Zip Code dont make you an entirely separate entity I dont know what does... I am actually writing this as I look out my office window at a sign that says " University of Notre Dame: Notre Dame, Indiana 46556" Anyway, back to something of importance: basketball. how long before we can call Harangody the best player who will have no chance to play regularly in the NBA over Hansbrough?

I live in South Bend... just thought you would enjoy the fact that ND thinks they are so much better than everyone else that they actually became their own "city" even though it is completely surrounded by South Bend. What other university would do this...? Just an absolutely absurd view of themselves on their high horse I really do love ND for the most part so lets keep this Irish bashing to a minimum!

that season will be a bit of a changing of the guard for ND. Martin, Hansbrough, Harangody, Francis will all have been seniors the previous season (I assume we are talking 2010-2011 season). We will also have a solid group of returning juniors and seniors coming back for that season. There is no reason this couldnt be a good game! I grew up in south bend and have seen first hand the migration from SB to Chicago. We should have our own neighborhood there by now - like a really boring Chinatown! But honestly, if you have been to SB you cant blame us for heading to the city...

I agree that my mornings would not be complete without sportscenter. I also like the baseball tonight and college football crews - minus eduardo perez. I just cant stand it when ESPN has to tell us who we should think is the best. Isnt part of being the best in someones eyes largely based on opinion and possibly emotional connection. For example, I am from Indiana and view Bob Knight in very high regards because much of my childhood involves Bob Knight and watching his teams win. This would bump him up a few spots on my coaching list where as I hate a guy like Mike Krzysdfslkdfjsf at Duke even though he has a resume that few would be able to argue against. Bottom line is that ESPN has shown they are more creative than to keep pumping out lists which ahve already been done by something like the Best Damn Sports Show

umass is also in the top 50 coming in at 42. I cant stand these things. The worst going is the titletown segment ESPN is running. Of course fans are going to vote for their favorite teams and/or hometowns and not the real "titletown"...

you are right you are right... Gordon was the best. I guess I am just still bitter towards that false prophet, Eric Gordon even though it wasnt his fault that his coach was a slime-ball.

I am from Indiana and thus had to deal with watching a ton of IU's games last year. Other than DJ White, Jordan Crawford was probably the 2nd best player on the court for IU for a majority of the season. This is not saying that he may have had the most talent as Gordon and White obviously take the cake here. However, Crawford was a solid defender who rarely took plays off, had a steady mid-range jump shot, and was quick enough to get to the rim. If he can develop his off-hand a little more he will be tough to stop. Plus, last year he was only a freshman so he has PLENTY of time to develop under Coach Miller. A GREAT pickup by X. No way he gets immediate eligibility however. That whole situation is way too much of a mess.

Even as a cubs fan I think this trade would be foolish for the cardinals to make. You guys have a decent OF, and most if not all of those outfielders seem to be relatively young and/or new at their respective positions (a la ankiel). I think the yankees have been the prime example to the rest of the league that it is a poor move to trade away blossoming young talent for one rental player. Holliday isnt going to be the player that puts you over the top in the central. An upgrade at the midle infield positions I think would be the place where you guys should look if you are going to be making any moves. While I like Kennedy and Ryan as possible backups or once in awhile players at those positions, I dont think they are everyday guys. What about someone like Christian Guzman from Washington? They are always looking for some young players to put in to their awful farm system and Guzman is actually a solid player again. Batting .315 with 5 hr and 27 rbi and actually leads the mlb in hits this year.

I will cheer for anyone who beats up on the yankees. GO CUBS!

yeah, anyone who signed up to reserve student tickets was automatically included in blue crew for the next year. I think the idea that once tuition is paid the tickets will be distributed sounds right. After hearing that, I think the tickets might even be a price added into our student account rather than having to deal with separate payment. thanks for the help

I see that everyone is discussing their tickets for next season. When will we get to hear from the school on our student tickets?!

any idea when student season tickets will be issued? also, how many of these tickets are available?
