Billiken Dude

Well just to get back to the incident. Im a student at SLU and lived in both Marchetti East and West during my tenure there. Almost every time I walked out onto my balcony I thought about climbing over the balcony railing and how scary/dangerous that would be. I didnt know this student directly but I do know one or two people who know this student. My heart goes out to him and his family and friends. Lets hope this is an isolated incident that never happens again

I dont see what the big deal is...obviously the athletic department isnt worried about it. They obviously have the capabilities to put a volleyball net on the main floor, I doubt that they never considered putting volleyball there. Dont worry about the precious basketball floor Im sure the ball will still bounce come basketball season. Also I paid for seasons tickets as well so you can count me among those "paying the freight"

By far the fastest and best hands I have ever seen on a high school basketball player were those of Jeremy Maclin when he played at Kirkwood. I only saw a game or two but his hands were amazing. But that isnt really surprising since his hands are part of the reason why he was an AA this year
