  1. How do those crazy blackout rules apply? I have called every d@mn bar near downtown and all of them have satellite not charter. If I go to flannerys would they have it on since they have direct tv?
  2. Anyone selling tickets for the LaSalle game? I checked stubhub, craigslist, and the post classifieds with no luck. D@mn ticket office only has $28 and $32 tickets. I thought that some of the ticket prices were cut in half for the remainder of the year.
  3. I do not have season tickets and was very suprised at the price($20) at the ticket office. SLU priced themselves out of filling the place up. It is cheaper to go to the Blues game. ($9 ticket, $10 parking in an attached garage, hell beer is only $1 more at scottrade)
  4. Here is a link to the emus roster: http://www.basketball.net.au/FS_extra.asp?...719&OrgID=1 Postion, height, pictures are all on there. D@mn height is in CM.
  5. Yes, Frank was the owner. He was quite a character. Nothing like being a freshman, not having an id and carding people at the door. Good times. He was supposed to take the money he got from SLU and open up in dogtown, never happened though. One day after they closed down I drove by and he was loading up the shark that hung right above the entrance, he had me come in, gave me a few pics that were on the wall and a bunch of beer that was left in the fridge. Went back to DeMatt and had a party compliments of his donation.
  6. I had a team outing at work and ordered 14 lbs of meat from Pappys. Everyone loved it. When I picked it up I was talking with the owner and he said RFT rated them the best new restaurant in STL. I don't get out much but would have to agree. You can't find a lunch that good for that price anywhere downtown. The mention of Bullfeathers brings a tear to my eye. Biondi's punk @ss had to knock that building down because so many underage students went there. Nothing like getting over to that place on St. Patty's day at 6:00 AM for some free food and green beer. Watched the Rams win the superbowl from there, ah memories!
  7. SLU BALLLLLLLLLSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Now that was a group! We had a d@mn good time at those soccer games and our trip up to Indiana.
  8. I was in school when the soccer team moved back on campus and it definately helped attendance. My fraternity was the one that "spooned" along west pine and that was always a blast. I am going to suggest they "Brat" the campus next year and see how many Majerus eats on the way down to the new arena. If the athletic department is smart, they will get the greek community involved with tickets and the student section will fill up.
