Thank you Pistol. I am putting it bluntly. I can't think of any other words to describe this team other then stupid. We SHOULD be winning, and I really believe we could be winning, but we just aren't. We are a weird, weird team.

Does anyone else get the feeling that we could win all, or at least 90% of our games in this pathetic conference. Just watching SLU, I can tell we have the most talent in the A-10. I really believe we should be undefeated thus far. So why are we losing? Its cuz we are a weird, stupid team that makes no sense. I wish we could just fast forward to the conference tourny cuz for all intents and purposes, the season is over except for those 4 days. And if we play like we should play, I don't see a team that can beat us. Then again, this is SLU basketball and that type of stuff doesn't happen.

Interesting. I did not know SLU offered that. I've attended a few women's bball games but not the others.

All of you that have jumped to the defense of Cheryl, I ask you to consider this. Sure, we improved in all of the smaller sports like you have described, including women's basketball. But in reality, WHO CARES?!?! Men's bball supplies all the funding for all the other sports combined. ITS THE ONLY ONE THAT REALLY MATTERS!! Admit to it or not, men's basketball is the most vital, important, and critical task for Cheryl and she has failed so far in that department. Attendance is the same, spirit on the campus is the same, nothing has changed. Its nice to have a 19th place finish in women's soccer, but that ain't puttin any money in the athletic departments bank reserves. Its ALL about men's basketball...even if you don't like to see it that way, its the sad, unfortunate truth.

Why don't you go back and watch tape of the things Luke does that DON'T show up in the statbook. He always boxes out, on both ends, dives for balls, hussels, knocks down the big shot under pressure, etc. You lost all credibility in my eyes Brian with this statement. All credibility. You should talk to Cheryl and get that marketing position that was discussed in the earlier posts. Your ideas have been the best I have read on this board as of yet. You seem to have a good grasp on what the student fans want and some brilliant ideas in terms of the tailgating areas, location of the Billiken, etc. Get Cheryl to at least interview for that job, you'd blow the other competition out.

Roy, I know what you are saying but I am just frustrated. Really frustrated. How have you personally gotten throug the doldrums of the program? Cuz as a relatively new fan (last 6-7 years), its tough.

Brad needs to go, and go now. The season is over. Barring a miracle run in the conference tourny (if we even get there, which is in more and more doubt every game), we won't even make a post season tourny. The past 5 years have been an embaressment. The case has been made time and time again, over thousands of posts, on this board. Its clear as day that Brad is way overmatched. I'm sick of the mediocrity that Billikan, Skip, etc accept. Can him now, and cut your losses. As I've learned, the worst thing you can do is not recognize a dog when you've got one. Cut your losses before it gets irreplacable. No. MORE. EXCUSES.
