  1. Most of us want to stay in the A-10. But, we think getting rid of your sorry a$$ program would be a good start in improving the overall health of the conference.
  2. You would have to be smarter and work harder.
  3. I was just saying how I believe Rick feels about it. I think it is a great tool for the program and a perfect way to kick off the season.
  4. It is about the results. He is like a lot of coaches who think that the time can be better used. I can tell you right now RM doesn't care about a slam dunk contest, a 3 point shooting contest, and fans arguing over starters. He shouldn't either. He will probably have to give in on this one, it will be a great marketing tool going into the new season. The program will need all this they can get in a very crowded marketplace.
  5. I am not a fan of the way the program has been run for a long time, but you got to give credit when it is due.
  6. "SLU Comes Alive" the new hit single from the Brad 5.
  7. I will pass on Harris. There are much better catches out there.
  8. Kansas, Memphis, Mich. State, Indiana, Ohio State, and the Illini. Those are the big boys of the midwest. Then you have a second group that include SIU, Butler, XU, and Creighton. But , I will give you this Futurebilliken those (Creighton excluded) second programs would have a hard time pulling off what we did.
  9. Arguing over starting line-ups and actual basketball stuff again. It is much better than fighting over a coach, the way he was fired, the budget, the replacement, press releases, lack of press conferences, and who was behind what.
  10. Well the fact that we had a guard helping him all year, even when we were getting killed from the outside, proves that the staff last year had no faith in him defensively. Luke is a hard worker and I think he would be a great sixth man, but if we want to have the team we all want we better find better options for the starting line-up than him.
  11. He didn't get destroyed last year because we played the pack defense and he always had a gaurd sagging to help him out. That will not be the case next year when we play a straight up man-to-man. Everthing is different with RM system wise both on the offensive and the defensive end.
  12. Rick won't start him at the four if he can't gaurd the opposing four. He has never been able to do that. He won't start at the three if he has a worst three point shooting percentage than Polk had last year (which he did). RM wont feel if he owes these kids anything. He will start the newcomer if he thinks it is the best thing for his team. He did it at Ball State and he did it at Utah.
  13. V, I will be shocked if LM is starting next year. He is not the kind of player RM likes at the 3 or the 4. One of these two will be the most likely starting line-up as the roster stands now: DP, KL, TL, AK (or a Juco), and BH or KL, TL, MR, AK (or a Juco) and BH. BH will be starting, there is no doubt with RM coaching.
  14. Doc I think you are right. It is way to early to project starting line-ups, because we have know idea who all will be here next year. After watching Rick's teams over the years, I would be worried if I was Luke about my minutes.
  15. We need to keep Rick happy. I will nominate Jenna Fisher. She is a St. Louis native and has the Hollywood connections. She is not Ashley, but she is smoking hot. http://www.givememyremote.com/remote/wp-co...scher_alive.jpg
  16. Agreed. V can go way overboard with the locals, especailly the Vashon kids.
  17. Slusae03 you are right Polk was never lights out, but he was a much better shooter than he has been the last 3 years.
  18. I have been thinking the same thing about Polk too. Don't want to get my hopes up too much, he has been a let down the past to years. It will be intresting to see how he does in a real offense and running the point instead of playing the 3.
