Yes, Edmonds made an unofficial visit to SLU, during an AAU Tournament at The Harris Stowe State College. He was named tournament MVP for Midwest Storm. He's getting offers from Ivy League schools, namely Princeton and Harvard, due to his outstanding academics. He'd be a perfect fit for the Harvard of the Midwest, Saint Louis.

I watched the entire game, and I though the ref was a former UN Weapons inspector or something. Someone who had a disdain for all things U.S.A., including their national soccer team. Poorly officiated game, and ABC color personality Marcelo Balboa (former US team captain) chastised the ref throughout the entire game, even when a call went the way of the Yankees. He said that these refs are being evaluated by FIFA, and he hopes that the US-Italy game would be the last World Cup game this guy does. McBride played well, although his costly offsides call on a DeeMarcus Beasley goal would have put the US up 2-1. McBride always plays well in International play. He was Fullham's player of the Year in the EPL, for goodness sake!

I still don't feel 100% comfortable with Husak and Ian out there, considering if one or the other gets in foul trouble, we're going to need some sort of presence out there. Watched the boys play on Monday afternoon at West Pine (just a couple of pickup games), but Lisch was on fire and Luke Meyer made a couple of unimpressive baseline jumpers. D. Miles was running with them too. Hopefully he can beat the snot out of Ian this summer so that Ian will be a force by the time Hansborough comes to call.
