  1. Ah, how quickly they turn. Well at least I picked the correct winner. The important info to glean from the spread prediction on Kent St was that the Bills were beat by a team that was equal to slightly better than the Bills. If you were playing North Carolina @ Chapel Hill , it wouldn't have been such a shocker. For that matter, we played Pitt @ their place and lost by only 11. I have seen Pitt play and I have seen Kent St. play and Kent St is no Pitt. So how do you lose by 40 pts??? Kent St has probably their best game of the season. The Bills have probably their worst. The perfect storm creates a 40 pt spread. Summary- -The game was an anomaly and therefore I wouldn't jump to any conclusions about Majerus, SLU or the season in general.
  2. Furman is not a very good team. On par with NC A&T

  4. I didn't even run this through the computer. I was at the tourney last night and I can tell you that A&T is a much better team than Hou Bap. On another note Pitt looks really good. They missed their first 18 of 19 3's and still won by 40+. I hope our game with them is not a ditto of last year's Tex AM game.
  5. I have the away games of GW, UMass & Char as losses but close games. (which is why I have GW &U Mass as wins @ home) If we played Char @ home I''d give us a win. If we develop early on those 3 away games could fall into the win column. The Mo St game will be tough not only because we are away but we play them early in the season. If we beat them it would be an upset---not a major upset but still an upset. The Wiz

  7. Down to W Ky & X according to Courier Journal. Ky, his 1st choice, wanted him to wait 2 wks before making a decision. He is getting impatient so he has scratched them. He scratched SLU when we dropped Brad. He is supposed to visit X on Mon.
  8. This talk must be the usual "don't take this team lightly" talk. In reality, Richmond is not very good. Last in conference (3-11) and 7-20 overall. They are probably slightly better than St. Bon and slightly worse than Duq. (I know we lost to them both) Richmond, Bon & Duq are all lower tier teams. If the Bills play a good game (not great) we should win handily. Bills by 16
  9. The good news is we should win the next 5 of 6 games (only loss to UMass)
